My name is Kaley Carmichael and I am a senior at Ball State University. My major is Fashion Merchandising and I am also minoring in Marketing and Digital Publishing. My hobbies include taking photographs, scrap-booking, fitness, enjoying the outdoors, and living a healthy lifestyle. After graduation I hope to obtain a job as a buyer in the fashion industry or as a fashion event planner for a retail store, planning promotional events to create brand awareness for a company. I love reading and posting inspirational quotes and I also reading about health, fitness, and fashion.
Social media marketing is important in my future career plans, because I hope to someday work in fashion event planning and promote in-store events for a retail company. Social media and technology is growing so rapidly and I know that social media will have a huge impact when communicating with customers and promoting a store’s brand and events.
An interesting fact about me is that I ran in the Louisville, Kentucky Mini-Marathon race in 2011 and have ran in over 10 other races since then, including 5K, 10K, and 15K races.
